The Spacedrum® 8 notes Sunpown is the latest creation from Metal Sounds. It offers a range that starts with an Si2 and ends with an Fa # 4. With its diameter of 60 cm it is based on a low register and allows the use of notes providing remarkable bass.
This model is aimed at experienced musicians as well as people anxious to play on a handpan offering deep tones and vibrations. Rather, it should be played on one foot, but it can also be placed on your lap.
This range does not change the arrangement of the notes and allows alternating play as on the other 8-note models.
The Spacedrum® Evolution is the fourth generation of Spacedrum®. It is the result of close collaboration between the students of a large engineering school (Les Mines) and the Metal Sounds team. It is distinguished from previous versions by the special stainless alloy used for its manufacture. This material protects your instrument indefinitely against the effects of corrosion, even in the most extreme climatic conditions. It is, moreover, harder than conventional steel which durably prolongs the holding of the tuning over time. The sound range is respected and the gains in sustain (duration of the sound) and sound volume are obvious.

Maintenance: wax (a pot provided) applied on the entire outer surface of the instrument (above and below). One to two applications per year with a soft, dry cloth, buffing.
