The 140 AIR has two sound signatures, AIR and FLAT. AIR offers an open and “sparkling” sound. It's the right choice if you need great sound without spending time in post-production. FLAT offers a linear frequency response for faithful reproduction of drums, strings, acoustic guitars and backing vocals. It is perfect if you are looking for realistic sound picks.
The best stereo pairing ever.
LEWITT has one of the most precise pairing processes in the industry. The difference between the two microphones of a stereo pair is inaudible. How is it possible ? The frequency response and sensitivity of each microphone is measured. A measuring system controls the polarization voltage of the capsule to adjust the sensitivity, which is therefore the same for all LCT 140 AIR. Then, an algorithm compares the measured frequency response of each microphone and finds the perfect pairs.
Excellent response to transients and full flexibility on all instruments.
Transients are the DNA of your instrument's sound. To maintain the natural musicality of your instruments, the LCT 140 AIR offers excellent response to transients. And to deal with any eventuality, the LCT 140 AIR has a low-cut filter and an attenuation PAD. You can safely use it with noisy sources and easily eliminate extraneous noise in the low frequencies.
