The RØDE NT4 stereo microphone is equipped with two capsules in X / Y configuration and avoids the complex use of a paired pair of microphones, a stereo bar and other equipment. Just place a single microphone to record a realistic stereo image. The two 1/2 ?cardioid condenser capsules are oriented at a 90 ° angle to each other and generate a wide stereo image. The mic is ideal as a drum overhead, for percussion, backing vocals or recording ambience and sound design in the studio or in the field. The NT4 can be powered by 9V battery or 48V phantom power. It comes with stereo XLR plug and 3.5mm mini-jack cables for connecting the NT4 to a mixing console, portable recorder or camera.
