The American Custom series consists of a variety of models designed and designed by Vic Firth himself. The first manufacturer to apply the concept of a round olive on a stick, Mr Everett Joseph Firth, more commonly known as Vic Firth, has developed 12 original models that have been devised for jazz, pop and rock drummers. These twelve models are crafted from maple, making them light sticks, with excellent sensations of speed and rebound. Before leading the brand that still bears his name today, the late Vic Firth was first and foremost an accomplished percussionist who practiced his art under the baton of the greatest conductors in the Boston Symphony Orchestra. His first pair of chopsticks was designed to meet the needs of a musical piece for which he wanted a particular sound and touch. Assisted by the greatest drummers on the planet, the designers of the brand have maintained this requirement to market models to adapt to each hand and especially to each musical context.
