The Adam Audio Sub8 subwoofer is a compact yet powerful subwoofer. It is intended to extend the low frequencies of any proximity monitoring system up to 30Hz.
It features a robust 8.5 ″ woofer with a 1.5 ″ voice coil and is driven by a 160 W ICE power amplifier. This high performance amplifier can handle maximum pressure levels without overheating, even during long mixing sessions.
The front of the cabinet has two motorized potentiometers to adjust the input level and the cutoff frequency. These settings can also be controlled via the supplied wireless remote control to optimize sound reproduction from your ideal listening position.
The Sub8 is designed for control rooms up to 20 square meters. It will ideally complement the ADAM Audio AX Series monitoring speakers as well as the S2V proximity model.
