Produced only from 1981 to 1981 1984, the Roland TB-303 was a huge commercial failure as replacement of the low guitar, but it quickly found its place as one of the most appreciated synthesors for what has become the Electronic Dance Music (EDM ). Faithful and ultra-supplied tribute to the emblematic synthesizer which gave birth to the House Music, and with a brand new distortion circuit, the TD-3-BB allows you to create any sound with a finesse and a incredible ease. With its purely analog signal path, its 16-step sequencer and its authentic VCO, VCF and VCA filters, TD-3-BB is sure to become one of your favorite synthesizers.

< B> Path of the Pure Analog Signal
Great care has been given to the design of TD-3-BB, including respect for the original conceptions of VCO, VCF and VCA and purely analog circuits with paired transistors. It is this particular attention paid to the details which gives TD-3-BB its capacity for ultra-flexible sound shaping, which covers everything, sounds of bass and super fatty lead with breathtaking effects, to the sounds of a Another world from your imagination.

Vintage oscillator < / B>
The authentic oscillator controlled by voltage (VCO) of TD-3-BB, with a wave-shaped circuit with transistors, is very easy to use and offers you the choice between Forms of inverted or impulse sawtard waves for optimal sound creation.

integrated sequencer and arpeggiator
The sequencer integrated at 7 tracks you Ermet to program up to 16 stages of notes and silences and save them in the form of a pattern. You can save, save and recall up to 250 patterns, all that can be stored in the 4 groups. Your sequences can be played either in keyboard mode, where you create and record the pattern, or in step by step which allows you to interact while composing a pattern. The integrated arpeggiator offers large patterns that you can build to obtain a virtually infinite range of sound effects. The sequencer and the td-3-BB arpeggiator are both fun, bewitching and totally addictive ...

move to distortion!

A brief history of analog synthesis
The evolution of the modern synthesizer began in 1919, when a Russian physicist named Lev Termen (also known as Léon Theremin) invented one of the first electronic music instruments - Theremin. It was a simple oscillator which we played by moving the hand of the interpreter near the antenna of the instrument. A remarkable example of the use of Theremin can be heard on the emblematic hit of beach boys "good vibrations".

Ondioline
at the end of the 1930s , the French musician Georges Jenny invented what he called the Ondioline, a monophonic electronic keyboard capable of generating a wide range of sounds. The keyboard even allowed the player to produce a natural vibrato by pressing a button and using lateral movements of the fingers. You can hear the Ondioline on the song "Runaway" by Del Shannon.

piano Storytone
designed by the famous manufacturer of Pianos Story & Clark in association with RCA, the Piano Storytone made its debut at the New York Universal Exhibition in 1939. Hailed as the first electric piano in the world, the storyte is prized by musicians and collectors for its realistic piano sound - only some 500 copies were built.

mellotron
much appreciated in the 1960s, the mellotron of Harry Chamberlin was an electromechanical keyboard that generated sounds by reading bands pre -recorded. Although capricious and subject to problems of height and mechanics, the mellotron has been widely used by many British artists. The classic songs of the Moody Blues "Days of Future Passed", the Beatles "Strawberry Fields Forever" and the Rolling Stones "She's a Rainbow" are perfect examples. arp 2600
manufactured by ARP Instruments, Inc, ARP 2600 was one of the most popular synthesizers of the 1970s. They were ideal For beginner players in the world of the synth and made it possible to change the patches via switches or 1/8 audio cables ". The list of recordings and artists who used the venerable ARP 2600 reads like a real who's Who of rock , pop and jazz, and understands The Who, David Bowie, John Lennon, Depeche Mode, Edgar Winter, Frank Zappa and Herbie Hancock - to name a few. An ARP 2600 has even been used to create The voice of the character R2 -D2 of Star Wars. minimoog < /b>
designed to replace the big synts Modular shoes used at the time in pop music, Bill Hemsath and Robert Moog developed the Minimoog in 1971. This monophonic instrument became the first true all-in-one portable analog synthesizer. Thanks to its 3 oscillators and its 24 DB/Octave filter, the Minimoog produces an extremely rich and powerful bass sound and is still very requested today. Yes, Yes, Rick Wakeman said that this instrument had "absolutely changed the face of music". Author of the attribute: Glacial23-Early Minimoog Uploaded by Clusternote, CC by-Sa 2.0

yamaha CS-80
In 1976, Yamaha released his synthesizer Polyphonic CS-80 with 8 voices, which offered touches sensitive to velocity and an aftertouch for each voice. This analog instrument had a ribbon controller, which allowed the user to make polyphonic height changes and gentle glissandos. The composer Vangelis has used the CS-80 a lot in the original Blade Runner and carts strips. The CS-80 also provided the bass line heard in the theme song of the Doctor Who series of the BBC in 1980. sequential circuits Prophet 5
sequential circuits presented the Prophet 5, which was the first analog polyphonic synthesizer with 5 votes to offer memory storage of all patch settings for an instant recall. The Prophet 5 has revolutionized the world of synthesizers and, despite its fairly high price, has become one of the most popular synthesizers of all time. Designed by Dave Smith and Jowen, the Prophet 5 was the favorite keyboard for a very long list of artists, including Peter Gabriel, Philip Glass, Journey, The Cars, Thomas Dolby, Duran Duran, Gary Numan, Pink Floyd and countless others. The passion for keyboards
Our Founder, Uli Behringer, has a deep passion for keyboards. Born in the small town of Baden, Switzerland, in 1961, Uli grew up in a family of musicians where his mother taught him playing the piano from the age of four. His father was a scientist who built a massive organ in the family home and taught the young boy all the notions of electronics. Thus, at the age of 17, Behringer built his first synthesizer - the UB -1. Later, while studying at university to obtain a sound engineer diploma, Uli took advantage of his electronics knowledge by building his own equalizers and signal processors to fill the void left by the inability to The university to provide enough adequate studio equipment. The quality of his products spread quickly and he began to make equipment for his friends - the Behringer heritage was born. The rest, as we say, belongs to the story ...
