Description

First introduced in 1958, the AC15 combo has been the amp of choice for countless guitar players throughout the world. Drawing on more than 50 years of amp-building expertise, the AC15C1 Custom Series offers maximum tonal dexterity.

The Models

An Evolution in Tone
VOX Custom Series amps offer two channels: Normal and Top-Boost. Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. This powerful channel pairing provides an abundance of tone-crafting control, letting you dial in a classic sound that is all your own.

Both channels rely on the Tone Cut and Volume controls in the Master section. The Tone Cut control operates in the power stage rather than the preamp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone-shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain-staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Custom Series can deliver everything from a clean VOX "chimey" sound to a powerful overdriven tone.

Sound in Motion
You can sweeten the sound of your Custom Series amplifier using the VOX Classic Tremolo effect. Both the speed and the depth are adjustable, allowing you to generate just the sound you want. A warm Spring Reverb is also included on all Custom Series amps, adding spaciousness to the sound. All Custom Series amps can use the VOX VFS2 footswitch, allowing you to turn the Reverb and Tremolo effects on and off as you continue to play.

Power Sharing
The AC15C1 combo makes use of 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and uses pair of EL84 tubes to drive a single 12" Celestion G12M Greenback. All models in the Custom Series offer a switchable 8/16 ohm output jack for powering an external speaker cabinet when you need to speak with a little more authority; using this jack will mute the internal speakers. Additionally, a 2nd extension speaker jack allows you to run an extra 16 ohm cabinet along with the internal speakers for a fuller sound.

Célèbre combo Vox à lampes (acheté par erreur, je voulais le 30 Alnico et me suis trompé d'ampli au moment de clicker) Donc, j'y ai rajouté le bafle V 212 C et tombé Z à 8 Ohms, ça compense bien, de toutes façons il ne sera jamais poussé . 2 canaux dont 1 clair, Vibrato et réverb (à ressorts) LE célèbre canal Boost Vox avec tout ses paramétres habituels et inchangés qui génèrent Le son devenu légendaire de la marque, Vous savez déjà tout cela je pense si ce n'est que le rajout du bafle est vraiment top, en tombant l'impédance on rajoute 2 sources sups qui ajoutent une enveloppe et en dispersent le son de façon surprenante, bien sur ce sont des Célestions qui équipent le bafle . Vous aimez ce fameux son caractéristique ? Ben ... c'est lui qui le fait !!! S'il vous faut jouer vraiment très très fort, prenez le 30 (perso le 15 est déjà largement suffisant pour les tympans) Que du Bonheur !!!... (voir plus)

Le meilleur ampli de ma vie. Fait sonner toutes les guitares comme jamais les deux canaux sont sublimes le tremolo incroyable, petite réserve sur la reverb qui est très longue très vite à mon goût mais bon, si on veut une bonne reverb ben faut se payer une pédale quoi. Rien à redire les 15w démontent le son est à tomber je ne suis pas redescendu de mon nuage depuis une semaine il me tarde de débaucher pour le rallumer. Merci Vox et merci WB pour la livraison

bonjour super ampli que ce Vox, les sons clairs cristallins 'claquent' surtout avec ma Telecaster! j'aime moins les sons crunch! encore qu'avec mon Epiphone lee paul j'obtiens un son pas si dêgeu finalement je vais ajouter une disto je pense que ce sera mieux. tout à été dit à propos de cet ampli ,c'est un bon achat

Ampli reçu en 48h, le carton était percé et à l'envers au moment de la livraison, pourtant ya des flèches ... Réceptionné sous réserve de déballage et l'ampli n'a pas un seul pet :) On lis rapidement la notice, on branche, ça chauffe et la l'univers so British de Vox vous envahit totalement.

Ampli parfait pour les son claires et les disto bluesy, mais pas assez " couillus " pour jouer du metal sans une pédale de disto supplémentaire. La reverb et le tremolo sont d'une très bonne qualitée.

Fabriqué en Chine avec le cahier des charges anglais, c'est la légende dont j'avais envie depuis fort longtemps à un prix (615 euros) abordable pour ma bourse, et ce en 3 fois. Ce son...ce son...hmmm!
