The DTP 640 REX is an exceptional microphone with double capsules for the capture of low frequency bass drum or bass instruments in the studio or on stage with a perfect rejection of the rear wave.
Its design allows it to accept very high sound pressures up to 170SPL MAX linked to this specific frequency register. With its two large diaphragm capsules mounted suspended and in perfect phase, the DTP 640 REX has the advantage of the dynamic side to capture the attack of the instrument reinforced by the depth and detail of the condenser capsule.
Three pre-correction modes offering an emphasis on the frequencies 3 + 5KHz on the dynamic capsule and 70 + 150Hz on the condenser capsule, associated with three operating sensitivities allow you to permanently obtain a sound adapted to the playing style and the 'instrument. Thanks to the independent outputs of each capsule of the DTP 640 REX via the double XLR5 / XLR3 x2 connector, you keep total processing freedom for the stage or studio
