The Spacedrum® Cectic Minor new design is a handpan model (Pantam, hang drum) whose range starts with an Si2 and ends with a Solb4. With its diameter of 60 cm it allows the use of note surfaces providing deep and remarkable bass.
The Spacedrum® Evolution new design is the fifth generation of Spacedrum®. It is the result of close collaboration between a large school of engineers and the Metal Sounds team. Made from a special stainless steel alloy, the instrument is protected indefinitely against the effects of corrosion, even in extreme climatic conditions. It is, moreover, harder than conventional steel which durably prolongs the holding of the tuning over time, and its structural solidity. The sound range is respected and the gains in sustain (duration of the sound) and sound volume are obvious.
With a polished Double DING, the central note now emits a more matte tone, and allows a more percussive playing compared to the previous generation of Spacedrum®. The diameters of the DIMPLES (buttons located in the center of the notes) have been increased to further improve the overall balance of the instrument. The dimples also polished offer this new Handpan model a sober and luxurious design, reflecting its quality.
The diatonic and pentatonic scales in major and minor modes often used in an educational setting (conservatories, national education, music therapy, musical awakening ...) are suitable for any type of artistic project.
You can play it alone or with others, on your knees or on a support and even turn it over to appreciate the sounds emanating from the background with its hearing acting as "Udu". Whether the Spacedrum is rubbed using your palms, struck by sticks or simply struck with your fingers, you have complete freedom in terms of playing technique.
