Description: The new 0B1 heads have nothing to do with the famous Jedi Knight. They were born from a statement made by Orange R & D engineers. For years, bassists have often combined bass amp heads and guitar to multiply their sound palette, to explore new effects and new harmonics.
The question that arose is why take two amps in concert when only one should be enough? The result is these two 0B1 class A / B heads.
What makes the sound of the 0B1 series unique is the option of Blend and Gain that divides the signal into two paths. One amplifies the clear signal and the other adds two gain stages and high-frequency harmonics, as when using a "traditional" two-amp combination.
The Gain and Blend buttons on the front panel allow unlimited settings.
Two models are available: 0B1-300, with a power of 300 Watts and the OB1-500 with a power of 500 Watts. So, no need to ship two amps on stage.
