D'Addario EPN115, pure nickel strings for electric guitar, Blues / Jazz Rock, 11-48

The EPN115 game combines the playability of the popular Medium game by D'Addario; with a warmer and "vintage" sound.

D'Addario XL strings in pure nickel take us back to the 1950s, when nickel was the main alloy used to make strings for electric guitars. The pure nickel strings would then (during the 60s) be supplanted by the nickel-plated steel strings, while guitarists were looking for a brighter sound and better string magnetism. The pure nickel strings bring us the richer and warmer tones found in traditional blues, classic rock, rockabilly, and in many other styles.
