MG Series gooseneck systems feature sophisticated dual preamp circuitry ? one located in the capsule housing and the other embedded in the XLR connector base. This circuit is balanced, ensuring the signal is isolated from unwanted hum and noise. In addition, the MG microphones are protected against RF interference and spurious radiation from cell phones and GSM wireless devices.
The MG12, MG15 and MG18 are professional miniature microphones, with gooseneck, designed for various applications such as podiums, presentations, meetings and teleconferences. MG pickups have a uniform, controlled cardioid polar pattern, which helps isolate ambient noise. These models are also available in a hypercardioid version. With a wide frequency range, MGs deliver natural sound for exceptional vocal response.
