iLoud MTM studio monitors are now available in the latest Dolby Audio Room Design Tool (DARDT) for Atmos® systems. So you can quickly, easily and accurately set up a Dolby-compliant multi-monitor setup anywhere.
Adjusts instantly to any position
iLoud MTM's built-in ARC auto-calibration means it adapts in seconds to any placement, including overhead, correcting their output to ensure the most accurate and balanced sound from every position, without having to struggle with placement and spacing.
Point source performance at any distance
iLoud MTM is ideal for multi-channel installations, being linear in phase and having point source acoustic performance to be accurate at any distance. This minimizes the inaccuracies that conventional speakers can introduce into imaging, which is essential for multi-channel and immersive installations.
Reduced acoustic interaction
The iLoud MTM's midwoofer-tweeter-midwoofer design features significantly more controlled dispersion than typical designs. This minimizes the speakers' interaction with room acoustics (and each other), making them ideal for rooms that aren't set up for surround sound.
Lighter, smaller and easier to assemble
Equally important, the iLoud MTM monitors confirmed the establishment of a multi-channel setup. 30-50% smaller and lighter than comparable studio monitors, you'll find setup a snap in any size room. Thanks to the available mounting brackets for the ceiling and the wall, the MTM iLoud are quick to mount. And when that's not possible, their threaded bottom fits any standard microphone stand.
80Hz low-cut for bass management and subwoofer integration
iLoud MTM has deep bass extension for its size. As it is a compact enclosure, using its lowest cut-off point requires reducing the maximum sound pressure level (SPL). In immersive setups where this lowest crossover point is not needed and the speakers are farther from the mix position, this is not ideal. Good bass management can help eliminate the main and surround speakers to focus on the frequency range they master best and eliminate the subwoofers to manage the low frequency range. The addition of a standard 80 Hz (LFE) setting to MTM enables rapid integration of subwoofers at the frequency and slope that are imposed as the norm when managing bass in multi-channel or immersive setups.
