Designed for musicians and producers, the SSL 2+ has 2 XLR/jack combo inputs equipped with Neutrik connectors, with individual gain control and ALPS brand potentiometers. These connections feed two superb SSL-designed mic preamps with enough gain to deliver punch to any mic you connect. The inputs have a 48V phantom power supply to power condenser microphones, and are switchable to line level - to connect a digital piano or a music production system for example - and to high impedance -HI-Z- allowing direct connection a guitar on the interface.

An ultra-complete collaborative platform.
The SSL 2+ has a full range of outputs, richer than the more solo-oriented SSL 2. In addition to the two monitoring outputs in jack format, the SSL 2+ offers a pair of unbalanced RCA outputs transmitting the same signal as the outputs in jack format, as well as a second pair of RCAs returning the signal from USB channels 3 and 4 , whose level is adjustable via the DAW. Thought collaboration, the SSL 2+ also integrates 2 professional headphone outputs equipped with NJR high power amplifiers with independent gain adjustment, and a "3 & 4" switch on headphone B allows to pre-listen the return of USB channels 3 and 4 if necessary. The interface allows you to listen to the signal coming directly from your instruments by positioning the Monitor Mix potentiometer on the far left, or the signal returning from the computer on the right, or even the two channels of an instrument connected to the two inputs (such as than a keyboard) by pressing the Stereo switch. Finally, the very complete SSL 2+ has a Midi input and output to drive compatible external devices, such as keyboards or drum machines.
