The TG Channel MKII is a reissue of several classic circuits and combines the TG-2 preamp with an equalizer redesigned from the Beatles' original console. The active sections of the unit use the same amplifiers and transformers as the TG-1 and TG-2. The passive EQ offers smooth highs and a wide, solid low end. In short, the comparison is inevitable: this EQ resembles a Pultec EQP1-A or a Lang PEQ-2 by design; in short, it's a TG Pultec with a TG preamp.
