Bypass mode allows you to not use the built-in preamp, if you prefer to send the unamplified signal from the mic into your console or interface. In this case the microphone takes on the original performance of the SM7B. With a frequency response spanning from 50 to 20,000 Hz, a low-cut filter and equalization to boost presence, the SM7dB provides multiple sound signatures using switches on the rear of the microphone, to adapt to any type of voice or of instrument. Ayant beaucoup de microphone de moyenne gamme ( yamaha YCM01 ) je ne vois pas une grosse différence entre la qualité de ces deux la sauf que un est un micro dynamique et pas l'autres, Acheté le que si vous avez de l'argent a gaspiller mais beaucoup d'autres alternatives sont possible
