NUX ModCore Deluxe MK2

The NUX MOD CORE DELUXE MKII is a modulation pedal offering 8 different modulation types including ST.CH (Stereo Chorus), CE-1, SCF CHO, SCF FLG, SCF P.M., U-VIBE CHO, U-VIBE VIB and PH-100.

The MOD CORE DELUXE MKII offers sophisticated signal routing thanks to its effects loop send and return sockets. Easily split the mono signal to create custom effects loops! You can also put the two signals in parallel and use the Tweak button in Alt mode to mix the signals. Set the selector to the desired position and you're ready to go.

  • ST.CH (Stereo Chorus) is inspired by the great-sounding MXR® Stereo Chorus. We've simplified the controls by eliminating the bass and treble knobs, which are now internally set to their mid-position, and we've completely eliminated the bass filter, which is now automatically corrected thanks to advances in Core-image™ sound modelling.
  • CE-1 is based on the legendary BOSS® CE-1, which in 1976 was the first chorus effect pedal to arrive on the scene. Before that, only the effect built into a classic jazz amplifier existed. The MOD CORE DELUXE MKII reproduces exactly the characteristics of that pedal, the particular warmth of a rich jazz atmosphere, an instantly recognisable trait in any musician's sound.
  • The SCF effects pay homage to TC Electronics' Stereo Chorus Flanger, one of the best modulation pedals ever made since 1976.
    • SCF CHO: a chorus is basically a pitch generator that mixes multiple delayed signals. When the multiple delayed signals are mixed with the original signal, a smooth, full-bodied modulation effect is created.
    • SCF FLG: a flanger is based on the same principle as a chorus, although here the signal can be regenerated (as by adding feedback to a delay effect), creating a more characteristic sound effect.
    • SCF P.M.: a combination of chorus and pitch vibrato that creates a 'light' chorus sound.
  • The U-VIBE effects were inspired by the magnificent sound of the Dunlop® Uni-Vibe®. The old-fashioned Uni-Vibe provided its huge 3D sound by simulating the physical effect of rotating speakers, a beautiful and unforgettable sound that is easily associated with Hendrix's grinning face during his live performances in the 60s.
    • U-VIBE CHO: Depth changes the depth of the sweep effect.
    • U-VIBE VIB: Depth changes the degree of pitch modulation.
  • PH-100 is based on the MXR® PHASE 100, which has both speed control and 4-waveform intensity control, offering a wide range of sounds.
