Description

Eko One Resonator Guitar
The Eko One Resonator is a modern style electro resonator guitar, perfect for blues and bluegrass. In addition to its Spider-type resonator cone that offers a nice acoustic projection, its mini-humbucker pickup in the neck position gives the possibility to simply amplify with the characteristic sound of these folk instruments. This Resonator has a neo-retro look in line with the "One" series and allows everyone to try American folk music, or to play slide more seriously on a budget!

In the early decades of the 20th century, "modern" musicians were increasingly playing in "ensembles", and the emergence of resonator guitars corresponded to the growing need for guitarists to compete in terms of loudness with other powerful sounding instruments, such as banjos and mandolins, and later with the ever-increasing number of American jazz horns. The resonator was structured by an ingenious system involving the insertion of one or more vibrating cones, made of light metal, inside the body of the guitar.

These were attached to the bridge at the top, in a manner very similar to the "cones" of electric speakers. The vibrations, thanks to the direct contact between the strings and the cones, were strongly amplified. The combination of a sound characterized by mid-range frequencies, strong attack and low sustain means that the Resonator guitar is at its best in the fast arpeggios typical of American country music. Eko Guitars' Resonator is built with a spruce top, Sapeli laminated mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, and a 20-fret South American Rupee fingerboard. It is equipped with an Eko branded mini-humbucker with volume and tone controls, in gloss finish, with a 43 mm nut and 650 mm scale length.

The original and modern Eko spirit!
The One Resonator is everything you would expect from a high performance Eko resonator guitar, a real instrument built with serious craftsmanship, for a very good price/performance ratio. It is the ideal resonator to start playing bluegrass or slide and to improve your instrument comfortably. For this attractive price, you have the Italian design and serious technical features and versatile with a neck pickup that allows to amplify with ease.

"One" electro Resonator.
The One Resonator guitar is carefully constructed with a spruce top and the back and sides are made of sapelli mahogany, a common combination, but a clear and balanced sound. Its Auditorium format allows a nice projection of the sound, associated with the metal Spider resonator cone, for typical bluegrass sounds! The neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard is made of 20 fret South American Rupean. The special headstock design, the soft rounded shapes, the comma "/" inlay on the twelfth fret, and the retro Butterbean tuning machines ensure a stylish look, between modern and vintage. The mini-humbucker neck pickup is perfect for American folk or slide blues sounds, and can be adjusted with the volume and tone controls.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, the Eko One Resonator electro guitar is a great choice of amplifiable resonator guitar to try your hand at this typical sound on an affordable budget!
