Playing analog records will feel exactly like mixing on the famous PLX-1000 turntable.
Setting the weight to suit your styleFind your ideal "weight" setting by turning the knob above the MAGVEL CLAMP. The torque level will increase or decrease to make the record feel lighter or heavier, without having to change or adjust the felts or platter mats. You can also adjust the turntable's torque level in the Utility menu settings, and you can choose from 3 stop speeds via a button on the front of the unit.
Performance Pads and OLED display for fast, precise control.The PLX-CRSS12 inherits the presentation elements of traditional turntables, but adds 4 built-in MIDI-assignable Performance Pads, so all your favorite functions are at your fingertips. The pads are positioned exactly where you need them: just below the platter, so you can launch hot cues and samples faster than ever - and are even more convenient if you're playing on a mixer without pads. The turntable features native support for different pad modes (see below), and a dedicated button switches controls from pads 1-4 to pads 5-8. The pads are also MIDI-assignable, so you can associate them with other functions.

The integrated OLED display also helps you stay focused on the turntable. You can keep an eye on the tempo range and tone as you change pitch in analog (Analog) or digital (Digital Vinyl) mode, and when you're in Digital Vinyl mode, you can reference BPM, tone, turntable number and the name of the software you're using. The screen also gives you quick access to the Utility menu settings, so you don't have to worry about looking at your laptop or mixer during a set.

carefully designed to enhance the sound quality of the PLX-1000 professional DJ turntable, highly regarded for its precise sound reproduction. A switch-mode power supply is used to eliminate flux leakage, transformer-supplied vibrations and parasitic noise, thus delivering high-resolution sound quality.
As with the PLX-1000, the upper part of the chassis is constructed from high-pressure die-cast zinc, and the lower part from 8 mm-thick resin to optimize chassis structure and anti-vibration materials. The RCA terminals are also made of gold-plated components, like those on the PLX-1000, and the phono signal is transmitted directly to the plug via a stable connection to reproduce the warmth of analog records while enjoying high-quality sound.
