The UC1 is powered by the SSL 360° Plugin Manager, which allows you to view and control your 4KB, Channel Strip and Bus Compressor plugins on a single interface. This 360° administration system provides an efficient way to interact with multiple plug-ins simultaneously, bridging the gap between the console and the module workflow.

Unparalleled mastery of 4KB, Channel Strip and Bus Compressor plugins
The UC1 offers dedicated controls of all key parameters of the 4K B and Channel Strip 2 plugins. EQ, Filter, Compressor and Gate/Expander controls offer the same setup and visual feedback as the UC1 usually found on full-size SSL consoles, making it easy to quickly find the sweet spot for your channel processing. The Bus Compressor controls are located at the heart of CPU1. Their authentic layout and display make you feel like you're controlling a physical bus compressor built into the center section of an SSL console. With the classic moving-needle gain reduction meter found on SSL consoles since the 1970s, it perfectly represents the time constants and gain reduction characteristics of the Bus Compressor so producers and engineers know exactly how it reacts with their instruments, their subgroups and, of course, their mix bus.

A set of 3 SSL plugins offered
The UC1 comes with full licenses of the SSL 4K B, Channel Strip 2 and Bus Compressor 2 plug-ins. The SSL 4KB plug-in is a faithful and detailed emulation of the channel strip of the legendary SL 4000 console. SL 4000 B console is closely associated with the sound of the records released from the famous Townhouse Studio 2 in London, the "Stone Room", which marked the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s. The Channel Strip 2 plugin is a Channel Strip full-featured, based on digital modeling of EQ and dynamics curves from the legendary SuperAnalogue XL 9000 K console. Version 2 adds SSL-exclusive algorithms and the ability to trigger the dynamics sidechain externally. Bus Compressor 2 adds a host of user-requested features, with additional ratio, attack and release options, the ability to trigger the sidechain externally, as well as x2 and x4 oversampling.
