The DSI series is specially adapted for Cinema installations. Designed from the XTI platform, DSI amplifiers feature unique innovations in this area. They operate under loads of 2 to 8 ohms in stereo mode and 4 to 16 ohms in bridge mode. They are all the same 2U size and the same weight 8.6 kg (except DSI6000).
The DSI series uses class AB + B amplification. The gains are fixed at 26 dB and the damping factor is greater than 500. The front panel features a power switch, two volume potentiometers, three buttons for setting the internal DSP via the backlit display and indicators. The DSI series provides protection against short circuits, load problems, excessive input and output levels and direct currents to the enclosures. Forced ventilation is carried out by a large diameter fan with air flow from front to back. The fan speed is proportional to the temperature rise of the components.
