Description

capsule head for the mcm system of neumann, cardioid, titanium case, max. spl 153 db, 12 mm kk 14 diameter

the true neumann sound for your proximity soundproof instrument applications live

the cardioid capsule kk 14 of neumann redefines the norm for a rich and natural sound while taking closer, as well as the fidelity and signal accuracy that can be offered by the systems to electret. thanks to an entirely new production process, kk 14 overcomes old limitations such as sensitivity and tone inconsistencies. it can accept any level of acoustic pressure; users will no longer have to worry about the tolerances of microphones. built in titanium, this capsule is not intended to last only a season, but decades, which considerably reduces the cost of possession. you have superior sound sound and a wide variety of professional self-adjustable mounting options.

strengths:
the design of the layered capsule overcomes the old restrictions of electrets.
enhanced clarity in critical frequency ranges
• cardioid model
• unparalleled tonal coherence
• robust and durable design

the principle of the electret at a new level
the kk 14 captures the sound signature of the acoustic instruments with unparalleled precision and neutrality. it overcomes the old limits of the principle of the electret to offer bass and wider medium frequencies, and a confident elegance in the treble. whether it's discrete shades or peak dynamics of a fort fortissimo: with a maximum spl of 153, the kk 14 is open to all the details.

the 8 parts of perfection
to achieve this, neumann engineers have redesigned the production process of electret microphones. where classic solutions are based on highly integrated designs, neumann opted for a layered structure where each kk 14 module is constructed and designed to provide a perfect result. the components are then hand-assembled in germany. this eliminates typical compromises and opens the spectrum to once unparalleled acoustic qualities. if the titanium case is one of the ingredients of a robust design, it is also the expression of the inner elegance of design and engineering.

tonal coherence and robust design
the layered design also makes it possible to obtain a level of tonal coherence still never reached: each capsule has exactly the same sound. this allows engineers to save the time required for basic equalization and get a coherent sound from the first sound.

as an integral part of the neumann mcm system, the new series of miniature clip microphones offers an extremely low operating cost. the system is designed for years and not for a single season. its modular design also allows easy replacements. nine mounting clips allow reliable positioning on any instrument, while providing each surface. the system connects to all major wireless systems and includes cable options for a 3.5mm, lemo, 4-pin mini-xlr, microdot or a wired connection.
