While the AZ series features a recessed bridge cavity for smooth, dynamic tremolo, this model has a non-recessed bridge cavity. The direct contact between the bridge plate and the guitar body provides better resonance and facilitates subtle nuances in playing dynamics.
Five tremolo springs transfer string vibrations more efficiently to the guitar body.
The shallow contour of the back of the body and the large contour of the forearm mean that the guitar body adapts naturally to the musician, enhancing playing comfort. The AZ body has a deep waist and different radii on each curve of the body edge, making it easy to play while standing or sitting.
