Since the 1960s, it has been the real powerhouse of many of the most powerful UK guitar amp stacks. It typically produces between 20 and 25 watts, with pronounced and very dynamic mids, dense lows and crystal-clear highs. It saturates nicely and generates a slight crunch when you push it to the limit. It delivers an exceptional sound which will be heard in the middle of the rest of the group, the mids tending indeed to stand out in the mix. The big sister of the EL84. The GT EL34 is based on the original Mullard EL34 lamp from the 1960s. Mullard produced this lamp for approximately 15 years. Here today is a faithful reproduction of the classic XF2 double getter version. This lamp delivers a meaty, powerful and precise sound. It is capable of truly "waking up" re-releases of amps in order to obtain performance similar to the originals. A creation that makes you feel the excellence of the vintage power tube.
