EKO BAIO ACOUSTIC
The BAIO A (for "Box All In One") is a very compact, full-featured multi-effects pedal developed especially for acoustic and classical guitars. With its 8 carefully selected IR (impulse response) acoustic instrument microphones, gain and tone controls, not to mention multiple effects (compressor, anti-feedback, chorus, tremolo, reverb, delay), you'll be able to take complete control of your sound, and save three favourite presets. As well as its built-in tuner and mute function, the BAIO A is Bluetooth-enabled, so you can practise on your favourite backing tracks. The BAIO A is also an audio interface compatible with your computer or smartphone, so you can easily broadcast your recordings on social networks! Its rechargeable battery guarantees around 6 hours of continuous use, so you can play anywhere, and in silence if you want, thanks to its headphone output.
All-in-one multi-effects for acoustic and classical guitars!
The preamp section features gain, three-band EQ, compression and anti-feedback. The modulation section, accessible via the Mod control, lets you add chorus and tremolo; delay and reverb can be activated using the dedicated button, with the delay time and amount of reverb adjustable using the Time knob. The IR button lets you choose from eight impulse responses specially selected for the BAIO A by renowned Italian guitarist Massimo Varini, who has selected and adapted some of DrapSound®'s best IRs. The Out control lets you adjust the BAIO A's output volume and, using the three footswitches, you can switch between Preset mode - for using and setting up the 3 recordable presets - and Live mode, where you can adjust the IRs, Delay / Reverb, Chorus / Tremolo and Preamp separately at the drop of a hat. You can also use the footswitches to activate the Bluetooth module (for playing your favourite backing tracks) or the built-in tuner, which can be used to mute the output signal.
A versatile, connected tool!
The rear panel features two standard jack sockets for input and output, an ON/OFF switch and a micro USB port for powering the pedal and recharging the battery, which lasts up to 6 hours. This micro USB connection also enables you to connect to your computer to use BAIO A as an audio interface and download new third-party IRs. Thanks to the micro USB phone input, you can connect your smartphone to the pedal using the cable supplied and use the BAIO A as an audio interface simply on your mobile phone. There's also a mini-jack headphone output so you can listen silently to the instrument signal and any Bluetooth playback at the same time.
The Eko BAIO A software, available in PC and Mac versions, lets you manage all the functions available on the BAIO A: you can load and save external IRs in the 8 available slots; edit the 3 presets by modifying each parameter (gain, tone, effects, IR, etc.) and save the changes in the 3 available presets; restore IRs and factory presets.
With all its practical features, the BAIO A is a compact, portable all-in-one multi-effects unit, so you'll always have your favourite sounds close at hand!
