The new RME 12Mic-D mic preamp features twelve mic and line level inputs with digital conversion, uncompromising studio quality with remotely controllable gains, MADI and Dante connectivity onboard, plus a host of additional features, designed to make it the perfect companion to any professional recording setup. The 12Mic-D is acoustically identical to the already existing 12Mic (with 128 AVB channels) and completes the range of professional M-Series network audio solutions.
The PAD-free mic input stages have a 75dB gain range and accept signals up to +18dBu. On the converter side, the 12Mic shines with an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio on all channels. The front twelve XLR connections accept mic and line level signals, while the first four connections also accept jack connectors, with switchable high impedance (Hi-Z) for instruments.
