Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge has once again teamed up with Fender to design an otherworldly phenomenon: the Tom DeLonge Starcaster. The Starcaster Tom DeLonge features an asymmetrical semi-hollow body and is equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom humbucker whose devastating power will enable you to play big power chords and equally muscular riffs. But power isn't everything. The controls have been reduced to a single overall volume knob combined with Treble Bleed circuitry, which preserves the guitar's natural highs so you can enjoy impeccable clean tones and brilliant saturation. The comfortable "Modern C" neck profile is topped by a 12" (305 mm) radius rosewood fingerboard with jumbo medium frets. The result is a particularly effective modern touch. The guitar also features Fender locking tuners and an adjustable bridge with fixed tailpiece, a configuration that guarantees a classic look, unparalleled tuning possibilities and better tuning stability. You'll also find DeLonge's signature illustration on the back of the headstock and on the neck mounting plate, the latter also an original creation.
