Professional Baritone Saxophone YBS-62SII
Like the alto, the 62 baritone is a legend in its own right. Played by amateurs and professionals alike, it is one of the most popular baritone saxophones. The new ergonomically designed keywork and lighter mechanics have significantly improved the grip of the instrument and relieved the strain on the hands and arms. In addition, the optimised bell size contributes to the reduction of weight while offering excellent homogeneity in all registers. Musician comfort was a top priority, and with the smallest of improvements, as evidenced by the new positioning of the cord ring, saxophonists are offered a fantastic playing experience. Optimised keywork Incorporating the features available on the YBS-82 Custom baritone saxophone, the key layout provides improved ergonomics so that players can play faster and more comfortably. The position of the hands and fingers is more natural.
Bore and neck The hydroformed bore and the special bore ensure that the YBS-62II saxophone has a wide, fast, harmonious and rich response.
Optimized intonation The YBS-62II has a shorter, two-piece bell. This design results in a well-centred low register and a more consistent, rich sound in all registers.
Detachable spike (optional) The YBS-62II can be equipped with an optional pickguard to help the player hold the instrument. The spike attachment is both lightweight and sturdy, designed to provide perfect balance and ease of handling. Optional spike part number: BSAXPEGBS
Case The hard case is equipped with wheels to move the YBS-62II easily and safely.
