The GB2 console completes the range of Soundcraft GB Series consoles, still offering four groups configured in the form of two stereo sub-groups and an integral 6 x 2 matrix. Totally designed for fixed and audiovisual applications that do not require all the functions As a GB4 or GB8, the GB2 is available in 16, 24 and 32 mono input channel chassis formats, all equipped with 2 additional stereo input channels. Each input channel is equipped with the high performance microphone preamplifier and GB30 corrector, identical to those of the GB4 and GB8 models, and has 6 auxiliary feeders. Four subgroups are available as two stereo pairs, providing the unique ability to adjust the width of the main mix stereo. Pan settings are assigned to the output of groups, while the stereo separation level acting on the main mix bus is independently adjustable from full-width stereo to mono image. The GB2 also features two stereo input channels, with separate mic and line input. In standard use, the mic input is assigned to the channel input and the line input acts as a stereo return assigned to the main mix. By selecting the line input, it is assigned to the channel, instead of the microphone input.
