The DDJ-800 has been designed to allow you to make the most of the new features that have been added to the software, with today's release of rekordboxTM ver. 5.5.0.
Inheriting the presentation of the DDJ-1000 - which has gained a strong reputation among professional DJs playing at weddings, parties and events outside the club circuit - the DDJ-800 offers a multitude of performance features in a lighter device.
The DDJ-800 is the first unit* compatible with the newly developed Feedback Reducer feature of rekordbox dj**, which automatically reduces microphone feedback. The DJ controller also features the Color On Jog Display, which lets you see all the information you need during your sets, right in the center of each jog. * On the market for DJ controllers with feedback attenuation function (according to the study conducted by Pioneer DJ Corporation, as of April 8, 2019). ** To use the Feedback Reducer function, update rekordbox dj to the latest version (ver. 5.5.0).

The DDJ-800 is our first 2-channel controller to feature high-definition LCD screens, which display information such as playback time, BPMs and waveforms in the center of each jog. Cue Scope shows the distance in measurements from the current playback position to the Hot Cue and Loop points, so you can mix quickly and more accurately. You can choose to display covers on the screens, so you can instantly identify, at a glance on the jog, the song loaded on a track.
Move the microphone around with confidence. The DDJ-800 is the first controller compatible with rekordbox dj's new Feedback Reducer feature, which instantly detects the characteristic "howl" of feedback and turns it down. In addition, two independent microphone inputs provide more flexibility when juggling multiple DJs, MCs and other performers.

All buttons, knobs and faders on the controller are arranged and operated in the same way as on our reference club equipment: the CDJ-2000NXS2 and the DJM-900NXS2. Use the Feeling Adjust to set the jog resistance to your scratch preferences, and enrich your sets with the popular Sound Color FX and Beat FX effects from our DJM mixer series. You can instantly locate the BPM and names of selected effects without looking at your PC/Mac, thanks to the dedicated Beat FX display, which allows you to easily use the effects according to your inspiration.
