Drawing on the heritage of Pioneer DJ in the manufacture of high-quality turntables, the PLX-500 inherits the presentation of the professional turntable PLX-1000 and produces a clear and warm analog sound.
This plate is ideal for scratching. It is supplied with everything you need: cell, diamond and felt - and, with its USB output to easily make high quality digital recordings of its vinyl collection in the free rekordbox software.
By combining the turntable with a compatible DJM mixer and using the RBVS1-K Control Vinyl, it is possible to use the PLX-500 and the rekordbox dvs Plus Pack to play and scratch digital files and to choose between the black (PLX-500-K) or white (PLX-500-W) version depending on the color of the equipment or the style of the house.
The PLX-500 plate is delivered with cell, diamond and felt. Characteristics : - High quality analog vinyl sound: The PLX-500 series inherits its sound design from the professional PLX-1000 turntable, to deliver the high quality sound that connoisseurs expect from vinyl records.. The distortion is reduced thanks to the shortest possible audio path from the diamond to the output, and the Phono and Line outputs allow direct connection of the turntable to its equipment or to powered speakers, to directly benefit from the warm sound it delivers.
- Easy digital recording: With the integrated USB output, it is possible to save your vinyl collection as high quality WAV digital files by simply connecting the PLX-500 to a PC or Mac. It is very easy to digitize your songs using the free rekordbox application and, once the songs are in the rekordbox library, to read them on the PLX-500 and a rekordbox dvs installation, or on a DDJ controller, or on CDJs via USB. The user can also listen to them on mobile devices.
Thanks to its audio analysis technology, rekordbox detects silence between songs and creates a separate file for each title in your collection. The user can therefore start recording an entire album from an analog source and obtain individual songs without having to stop and restart recording between each song. And when the recording is finished, just name and add tags to your new songs.
- High Torque direct drive turntable for DJ performances and rekordbox dvs: The high torque direct drive PLX-500 is ideal for mixing and scratching. It can be combined with the rekordbox dvs Plus Pack, to read and manipulate its digital files when a DJM compatible mixer and RBVS1-K Control Vinyl are used (available separately).
- Lid with support for record sleeve: Possibility to enjoy the sound and visuals of your vinyls at the same time: when the cover of the turntable is up, place the cover of the disc read on the integrated support.
