Professional-quality wireless performance
Following on from its high-performance wireless systems, Nux has developed the B-8, comprising a very compact battery-powered transmitter that automatically pairs with the pedal-format receiver, perfectly designed to integrate with your pedalboard. Operating in the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band, it delivers high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz audio transmission, with a transmission latency of 2.5 ms (instantaneous) to 8.7 ms (signal stability), for optimum performance and playing feel. It has an operating range of up to 60 m, depending on the quality of the playing environment, giving you plenty of freedom of movement.
Versatility and simplicity for all instruments
The Nux B-8 wireless system is suitable for a wide range of instruments, including electric and electro-acoustic guitars, bass guitars and electro ukuleles. Easy to use, the transmitter and receiver are synchronised in just a few seconds, and the battery life of the transmitter is up to 6.5 hours! The transmitter can recharge its battery by clipping it onto the receiver's colour LCD screen, or via the USB-C cable supplied. You can also use the receiver's USB port to easily update the firmware and customise the start-up screen image.
Modern, advanced features
As well as a robust, professional wireless link, the B-8 is packed with clever, modern features to delight all types of musician. The activatable 'Cable Tone' function simulates the frequency spectrum of the resistance of a jack cable, for a rounder, warmer sound that guitarists sometimes want in their sound, despite using a wireless system. There's also a built-in tuner with different tuning and display options, which can be triggered via the receiver's footswitch. This footswitch can also trigger a +12dB boost, to reinforce your signal or get a boost for your solos! A clever effects loop lets you insert your other effects pedals into your signal chain and send the signal cleanly back to your amp. Finally, the balanced XLR D.I. output is ideal for connecting directly to a mixing desk or audio interface, for the most demanding studio or stage configurations.
