The AT-LP140XP professional turntable, fully manual, includes a direct drive motor with high torque, a die-cast aluminum platter, damped and anti-resonant to ensure stable rotation in the axis (at 33 1 / 3, 45 and 78 rpm). It is equipped with an S-shaped tonearm with adjustments for height, downforce and dynamic anti-skating control.
Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridges for over 50 years and this expertise is reflected in the high output AT-XP3 DJ cartridge, delivered with the turntable, and which has a 0.6mil conical stylus tip.. It is delivered pre-assembled on the AT-HS6 universal cell holder.
Designed to be connected to devices with a phono input, the turntable comes with a detachable dual RCA cable and delivers an output level of 5.5mV.
Other professional functions include start / stop button, forward and reverse playback, quartz controlled lock and speed variation (+/- 8%, +/- 16% and +/- 24% adjustment), a strobe indicator tray with speedometer and a removable light to locate its stylus as well as a removable protective cover.
The Audio-Technica AT-LP140XP will certainly not be suitable for all DJs..
