THE GREAT EXPERIENCE
The Nord Grand is the first Nord stage piano to be equipped with triple sensors, able to follow the movement of the hammers rather than that of the keys. This technology gives the keyboard a soft and dynamic touch, similar to that of a grand piano. A Responsive Hammer Kawai keyboard with an Ivory Touch finish. Perfectly balanced and highly responsive, this three-sensor keyboard conceals an advanced mechanism that offers incredible control, both for percussive and piano playing. The Nord Grand offers a wide selection of unique grand, upright, electric and electronic pianos from the exclusive Nord Piano Library. The Nord Grand Factory Bank includes 10 Grand Pianos, 9 Uprights, 10 Electric Pianos, Clavinets, Digital Pianos and more, from the Nord Piano Library. Additionally, the sampling techniques used by Nord capture the extraordinary nuances and precision of the original instruments with breathtaking realism. All sounds can be replaced easily using the Nord Sound Manager. The library is constantly updated with new, unique, world-class sounds, and free.
ADVANCED FEATURES
Nord's Advanced String Resonance feature reproduces the complex interplay of the piano strings, which resonate at their fundamental or harmonic frequencies, when other notes are played (for Grand and Upright pianos). It also adds the rich sonic ambience of a real piano when the sustain pedal is engaged. The Nord triple pedal included with the Nord Grand has Soft, Sostenuto and Dynamic Sustain pedals. The latter also activates the Pedal Noise, which dynamically simulates the mechanical noises of lifting and releasing the damper.
