Brian May made rock history with a considerable contribution to the sound of the electric guitar. And this sound, he obtained it, among other things, thanks to the legendary VOX AC-30. It is therefore natural for the brand to pay tribute to one of its most loyal followers. In order to reproduce the specific grain of this iconic guitarist, VOX not only revised the circuit of its MV-50 amp head incorporating the new Nu-Tube tube, but also took the opportunity to add a Treble Booster from KAT (Knight Audio Technologies), historical manufacturer of the effect used by Brian May.

Like previous versions of the MV-50 head, this Brian May signature therefore offers 50w of this specific grain in an ultra-compact, ultra-light and very versatile format. Indeed, beyond its standard use in amp head mode, it can be used as a pre-amp or as a direct input into the table or sound card thanks to an integrated cabinet simulation.
