The TLM 103 - 25 Years Edition is a tribute to that magical year and the industrial aesthetic of the late 1990s. Our Made-to-Order team designed a raw yet refined titanium look. The galvanic nickel coating is – again – 100% produced using our in-house production tools. Ultra-thin ridges, even more so than on vinyl, give the TLM 103 an elegant roughness that reflects its international reputation as a jack of all trades in any studio and for any project. Because that's what it is: its large-diaphragm electrostatic capsule is derived from the K67/87, a classic model of the legendary Neumann U 87. However, its modern sound with a large presence reinforcement and its ultra-low self-noise have made the TLM 103 a modern classic in its own right.
The TLM 103 - 25 Years Edition series is limited to 500 pieces. Each microphone bears its individual serial number on the front panel and is supplied with its elastic suspension and a pair of black gloves in a solid aluminum case.
