Toen Sonny Boy Williamson II zijn beroemde "Bye Bye Bird" opnam, deed hij dat met een Echo Vamper, de Britse versie van de Marine Band 364 die hier wordt aangeboden. Sindsdien is de constructie van dit instrument niet veranderd, met uitzondering van de motorkapgravures.
