The Lion '68 Super Lead uses the same Dynamic Speaker Modeling technology as the Ox Amp Top Box. It reproduces the punchy sound of six classic cabinet configurations, using perfectly placed microphones and dynamic ambient sounds.

The Van Halen album is the absolute reference for guitar sounds produced with a modified Super Lead. From the voltage dips of an underpowered Super Lead amp to the 4x12 cabinet combining 25-watt Celestion Greenback speakers and JBL D-120Fs, you too can make this muscular sound resonate, with the smoother attack and definition that have inspired generations of guitarists.
Authentic boosts for an even sharper sound
Only the Lion '68 lets you take your crunches and saturations a step further, simply by turning a potentiometer. It features a number of renowned boosts, including a Maestro EP-III preamp, a ten-band Boss GE-10 EQ, a classic Variac and bias controls**.
