With Easy on Me, the British artist Adele immediately conquered the charts worldwide in 2021. The song – the first single taken from her long-anticipated album 30 – conveys her struggle with her broken marriage; she especially wished to say sorry to and ask forgiveness of her son. Arranger Anthony Gröger, who loved the song straight away, created this nostalgic and expressive arrangement for string quartet.
