The Ace Pimento is an all-tubes 2 channels 20 Watts guitar amplifier built in the same chassis as the other Ace Amps models with a simple, robust and lightweight design.
Taking the clean channel of the FX Amps Dual Evolution and the overdrive channel of a slightly modified Ace Colt, the Ace Pimento embodies the most versatile solution in Ace Amps offering.
Coming from one of the best-selling FX Amps models, the clean channel is based on a Fender Blackface. Round, warm with just the right amount of brightness, its strength relies in its Gain setting allowing it to achieve a natural and organic saturation that is perfectly controlled, at a reasonable volume. It also makes the Pimento a great pedal platform thanks to its important headroom which adds to the character of the amp and magnifies the pedals feeding it.
In Lead mode, the slightly revoiced JCM typed channel of the Ace Colt shines. Having already a lot of edgy and character, it is now noticeably thicker and more modern sounding.

Ace amps have a unique 20 Watts class-A design which is powerful enough for live performances as well as home practice, thanks to the innovations already implemented in FX Amps units, such as the 2 Watts mode and the Ultralinear master control allowing for precise adjustment of the amp's volume.
The use of EL34 and 6L6 tubes, as in the most famous amps, makes it possible to have the desired sounds even at low volume. The No-bias system, allowing to replace the tubes without calibration, makes for an easy and cost-effective maintenance.
