The first Weatherking Drumhead was made of newly introduced Mylar from DuPont™. 7 mil and 3 mil ply films were combined to make the first AMBASSADOR® drumhead. It was the drumhead that changed the sound of the world.
History The growth of the drum-set as a popular musical instrument became a reality the day Ringo Starr appeared with the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. That day, the drum-set boom took off and Remo Drumheads went with it.
Vintage “A” Drumheads feature AMBASSADOR® durability with a unique soft feel reminiscent of calf heads with accentuated snare response for back beats, ghost notes, brushes and press rolls.
