Chorus Brigade: Mythical Japanese Modulation:
When it was released in 1976, this legendary gray Bucket Brigade pedal revolutionized the sound of music with its dense, lush chorus and undulating vibrato. The Astra's Brigade Chorus mode gives you the most complete emulation of the legendary effect's circuitry, including its preamp for authentic saturation. You'll be able to bring subtle hints of analog texture, mellowness, brilliance and movement to whatever you play.
Flanger/Doubler: A Studio Classic in a Rack
This classic rackmount studio flanger/doubler is based on Bucket Brigade technology from the late 1970s. It's known for its stunning whoosh effects, but also for densifying the sound in a natural way and generating a plethora of strange sounds that go far beyond traditional flangers. The Astra's Flanger/Dblr effect is the only one that emulates the entire circuitry of this ultra-rare processor. It captures its original characteristics to perfection and puts extraordinary, complex flanger/doubler effects at your fingertips.
Trem 65: The "Thrill" of a Tube Amp
Few things compare to the optical tube tremolo of 1960s American amplifiers. Trem 65 is a faithful emulation of this classic circuit that delivers a deep, rippling sound, the essence of vibrant ambience. From shimmering tremors to true chaos, every dynamic nuance has been captured in UA style, including the complex interactions between the photoresistor and the 12AT7 tube. Plus, you can go even further and create your own textures by varying the sine and square wave settings.
