The Isochrone OCX becomes a new quality standard in the world of master clocks. A master clock is the heart of a digital studio, a guarantee of stability and integrity of the sound rendering. Working with little jitter is a crucial operation in the studio. The Antelope jitter processing module implemented in the Isochrone OCX makes jitter almost non-existent. A filter of the “Adaptive Loop Filtering” type is brought to its highest level of efficiency thanks to the development of a dedicated chip “(DSP) Based Multistage IIR filter” which ensures the suppression of jitter and a high sound quality of the studio.
The precision of the oscillator is variable with the fluctuations of temperature. The Isochrone OCX solves this problem with the “Oven Control” The temperature control of the oscillator in a closed enclosure provides perfect stability. The Isochrone can be synchronized to the most precise clock on earth: the Atomic Clock. A studio can actually achieve perfect stability with an Atomic clock. The OCX, OCX-V and Trinity are the only Master Clocks capable of handling this unprecedented technology.
