The Shure 55SH Series II is especially suited for vocals. Specifically designed for stage performances and speeches, this microphone will also prove formidable for television broadcasts, recordings, and any sound recording requiring a microphone with a retro look. A descendant of the Unidyne 55 microphone dynasty, which began in 1939 with the very first Model 55, the 55SH Series II incorporates a state-of-the-art capsule in a satin-chrome die-cast housing. It is the worthy successor to this legendary series, which has contributed to the American brand's reputation for over 70 years.

History and Performance.
Compliant with current audio requirements, the 55SH Series II fits perfectly on stage. Its cardioid polar pattern provides good rejection of ambient noise and minimizes sound pickup from behind the microphone. Mounted on an integrated articulated clip and featuring an on/off switch, this microphone offers a vintage look, rugged durability, and excellent audio performance.

Tolles Aussehen und robust! Praktischer Ein-/Aus-Schalter. Schade, dass der Aufnahmepegel niedrig ist, musste den Eingangspegel oder die Ausgangslautstärke erhöhen, um einen ordentlichen Klangpegel zu erhalten.
