An ultra-compact keyboard without compromise.
Typically, portable keyboards involve sacrificing buttons, features, and connectivity. That's why, when you discover the KeyStep's compact size, you might not think it has MIDI inputs and outputs, a CV gate, and even analog sync. But why analog sync? We saved the best for last: the KeyStep also includes a built-in sequencer.

A master keyboard with flawless keys.
Arturia has designed a keyboard specifically for the KeyStep. The result? On a portable keyboard, you get slim keys (halfway between large and small keys) that are pleasant to play and respond precisely to your playing and sensitivity. But Arturia has gone even further: the KeyStep's keyboard also responds to velocity and even aftertouch.

USB, MIDI, CV, and sync: open to the analog and digital worlds.
If you see so many KeySteps at trade shows, festivals, or even in studios, it's because they can connect to any environment: USB to control a computer, CV-gate to control analog instruments or modules, and finally, MIDI to work with digital synthesizers or expanders. As for sync, the KeyStep supports all different digital and analog standards: it can therefore synchronize with your PC software as well as with Korg Volca or an Arturia MatrixBrute.

Polyphonic sequencer and arpeggiator.
The KeyStep also offers an 8-memory polyphonic sequencer. This is complemented by an arpeggiator with 8 playing patterns. This sequencer is ideal for controlling a Eurorack modular system, but why not synchronize it with a Korg Volca system? Your KeyStep then transforms into a musical hub, becoming the nerve center of your environment, however comprehensive it may be.

Dies ist meine erste Mini-Master-Tastatur. Eigentlich ist es viel mehr als eine Master-Tastatur, da sie mit einem Arpeggiator, Sequencer und CV/Gate-Schnittstelle ausgestattet ist. Ein echtes Schweizer Taschenmesser. Kompakt, aber mit 32 Tasten statt 25, was für mich einen großen Unterschied macht, eine sehr gute Tastatur im Vergleich zu anderen. Die berührungsempfindlichen Räder sind wirklich angenehm und effektiv. Der einzige Nachteil im Vergleich zu physischen Rädern: Es fehlt eine Leuchtanzeige, um zu wissen, ob die Modulation aktiviert ist. Ich habe schon erlebt, dass ich die Modulation ausgelöst habe, indem ich die Leiste berührt habe, aber es gibt kein visuelles Feedback, um es zu bemerken. Ich habe es im CV/GATE-Modus an einem Vintage Yamaha CS (also in Hertz/V) getestet und es funktioniert gut. Es macht Spaß, diesen Dinosaurier zu sequenzieren!... (Mehr anzeigen)

Es hat meine m_audio Oxygen-Tastatur, die aufgrund eines nicht aktualisierten Treibers unbrauchbar war, vorteilhaft ersetzt. Ich habe auf allen Ebenen gewonnen: Treiber, Verarbeitungsqualität, clevere Stromversorgung, einen wirklich vielseitigen Sequenzer und eine erweiterte Steuerung über den Treiber.
