Description

Guild OM-240CE acoustic guitar
This medium-sized orchestral-shaped acoustic is equally suited to strumming and fingerpicking and produces a smooth, balanced sound. The perfect choice for the versatile musician, the OM-240CE features a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides and a mahogany arch back. Guild's signature arched back design allows for exceptional volume and projection, long sustain and a rich, full sound. The OM-240CE in Oxblood Burst features Guild's AP-1 pickup, bone saddle and nut, pearl rosette, vintage tortoiseshell pickguard and a matte polyurethane finish. Also available in Natural and Antique Charcoal Burst.

The Westerly Collection
The Westerly Collection pays tribute to an important period in the Guild's early history, when the Guild outgrew its beloved Hoboken, New Jersey factory and moved production to Westerly, Rhode Island in 1967. Finding a home in an old furniture manufacturing building, Guild took advantage of the extra space the new location had to offer, and improvised on the production plan left at Hoboken.

With a fresh start, highly skilled employees and plenty of room to grow, the Guild flourished. Not long ago the Westerly factory became famous for its exceptional craftsmanship, quality and the introduction of the Guild's highly regarded acoustics. The dedication to innovation was apparent, with meticulous attention to detail. Inspired by this golden age, the Guild Westerly Collection continues the tradition of impeccable craftsmanship and unwavering excellence by incorporating high quality materials and classic Guild designs into each instrument.
