Otto Link mouthpieces, known and acclaimed by professionals.
Mouthpieces praised by all saxophonists who have tried them. All jazz musicians have tried and/or adopted Otto Link mouthpieces at least once, whether they are made of ebonite or metal. Their larger chamber than other mouthpieces gives them a fuller sound and unparalleled projection.
Ebonite or metal, two clamping systems, two sounds. Otto Link ebonite mouthpieces are supplied with a plastic cap and a metal double-screw ligature which ensures that the reed is held in place perfectly. The 24-carat gold-plated metal mouthpieces are equipped with a ligature with a single screw that presses on a plate that exerts pressure on four points around the heel of the reed, thus making it easier to vibrate.
Precision is the brand's credo. The use of machines calibrated to one hundredth of a millimetre enables Otto Link to offer every musician a mouthpiece machined to the highest level of precision. Manual polishing by the firm's most qualified employees completes this manufacturing process, for which the firm's reputation is well established.
