For each scale, you will find on the left-hand page the name and location of the notes on the neck of the bass (22 squares), as well as the chords on which the scale in question can be played safely. On the right-hand page, by way of illustration, you will discover a long bass line that uses this one and only scale, accompanied by two recordings (to be downloaded), the first for demonstration and the second for application (playback support). You will then be able to play on this tape not only the proposed example, but also any other groove or bass line of your own conception... from the major pentatonic scale in question of course!
