The RedNet X2P is a compact, portable and robust 2 x 2 Dante audio interface with two Red Evolution mic preamps. Thanks to this “desktop” format and its Lcd screen, Focusrite presents an elegant network solution to support any proximity device, always with sound quality. Adding to a Focusrite Red interface or any other Dante IP audio system, a complete and simple system, sums up the mission of the Focusrite RedNet X2P. Audio interface with two inputs and two outputs in Dante format, the RedNet X2P is equipped with two Red Evolution microphone preamps, a stereo line output and a stereo headphone amplifier. Power, audio and remote control are transmitted via a single Ethernet cable (Ethernet power requires an "Power-over-Ethernet" switch or an optional PoE injector).
In addition, RedNet X2P offers very simple mix control which allows you to adjust the level of local inputs relative to network signals.
"Air" mode and high performance conversion. The two Red Evolution X2P micro-controllers, with digital control, deliver generous gain and a truly transparent signal. Each preamp has its stereo switch, individual phantom power, a high-pass filter and reverse polarity. Of course, they incorporate the famous "Air" mode, which reproduces the response curve of the legendary ISA preamps. High performance audio conversion achieves over 118 dB of dynamic range. These converters are finely calibrated to provide an optimal balance between sound quality, dynamic range and low latency.
