BLACKMAGIC DESIGN HYPERDECK STUDIO HD PROThe HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro has all the features of the HD models plus incredible processing power for working in Ultra HD. It features 12G-SDI with 12G-SDI loop through output. Both SDI outputs support 12G-SDI to play ProRes 4444 files for Ultra HD fill and key outputs. HDMI connections and ProRes and DNx file formats all switch between SD, HD and Ultra HD TV standards. Like the other models, H.264 is included for SD and HD, but switches to H.265 when recording in Ultra HD. The network connection now supports 10G Ethernet for incredible speed! Broadcast recording and playback using SD cards and SSDs!
HyperDeck Studio records quality video files directly to SD cards and SSDs. The new HyperDeck Studio models offer a modern design, more codecs and quieter cooling. All models support recording in H.264, Apple ProRes and DNxHD as well as PCM and AAC audio. The 4K model also supports H.265 files. Once the recording is complete, install the media on a computer to access the files with your favorite video software. For ISO recordings, the device offers reference and timecode generators to synchronize the devices. HyperDeck Studio is therefore ideal for broadcast, live production or multi-screen digital signage.
An elegant broadcast recorder
HyperDeck Studio recorders have been redesigned and include dozens of new features. Advanced models include broadcast controls on the front panel and more connections on the rear. The LCD screen supports light and dark modes, and the transport controls offer a professional touch. Pro models include a heavier, rubber-coated machined metal wheel for better grip. The wheel also incorporates an active clutch, as on traditional broadcast recorders. Thanks to the two slots, you can exchange the cards without interrupting the recording. Advanced models even have a headphone connection and a front speaker.
Bright LCD status display
HyperDeck Studio includes standard transport controls, as well as a wheel supporting jog, shuttle, and scroll. The compact LCD screen displays timecode and transport information, as well as a color thumbnail representing the clip currently playing or recording. It also displays information about each card, including format, frame rate, and audio levels. The LCD display incorporates video monitoring and audio indicators, selectable between VU and PPM ballistics. Transport controls and the built-in LCD display provide quick and easy control of the device.
